An eChallan is a digital ticket issued for traffic violations, delivered directly to your phone or email. This system streamlines the process, making it quicker and more convenient than traditional paper tickets. It allows you to easily pay fines and track your violations, reducing errors and improving the efficiency of managing traffic fines. You can check and pay your e-challan status and details online through government portals like Parivahan or third-party apps such as Vehicleinfo. It's a modern, hassle-free approach to handling traffic violations.
1. Visit the Vehicleinfo website
2. Click the "Login" button and log in with a Mobile Number or Google.
3. Click on "Challan Search".
4. Select "Delhi" state
5. Enter your vehicle number, and click the search button.
6. View all your challans and their status related to your vehicle number.
All vehicle owners must adhere to the rules outlined under The Motor Vehicles Act, which was amended in 2019 with the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019. These new amendments to traffic violations and fines took effect in Delhi on September 1, 2019. Below is a list of the updated traffic violations and their penalties:
